The Tennessee Bankers Association (TBA) celebrated its headquarters’ LEED certification with a dedication ceremony on Friday, October 17. TBA’s class-A, 35,685 square foot, two-story office and conference facility was designed to achieve LEED certification for energy use, lighting, water and materials, among a variety of other sustainable strategies.
The new facility and site was designed by Centric Architecture and constructed by R.C. Mathews Contractor.
Friday’s dedication luncheon included remarks from Marion Fowlkes and John Tettleton of Centric Architecture; Mike Leonard, Chairman of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the US Green Building Council and Bradley L. Barrett, President of Tennessee Bankers Association. The event was held at TBA’s headquarters, located at 211 Athens Way in MetroCenter.
