New Financial Literacy Toolbox Debuts
ABA launched its newest member-only resource—the ABA Toolbox on Financial Education—today with resources, lesson plans, communications tools, and a strategy to help bankers meet a growing need for more and better financial education for Americans.

"All of us need to commit to do more to expand people's understanding of money, of us, and of our business," said ABA Chairman Harris Simmons in a memo accompanying the Toolbox.

Bankers will find such tools as a financial education calendar, suggestions for partnering with community groups, financial education case studies, instructions for creating consumer-oriented Web pages using Toolbox resources, lesson plan, and more.

This latest Toolbox in ABA's popular series—all free to ABA members and not available for sale—comes as the ABA Education Foundation prepares to celebrate its 10th annual National Teach Children to Save Day, April 25

Every ABA member CEO will receive a free copy of the Toolbox in April. In the meantime, bankers can read, download and use ABA's Toolbox on Financial Education
