SIGN UP NOW TO SUPPORT GET SMART ABOUT CREDIT DAY
Bankers from across the country will be pitching in October 19 to help youths and young adults learn about credit and financial management skills as part of the fourth annual ABA Education Foundation Get Smart About Credit Day.

“Most students will graduate high school knowing more about Shakespeare than personal finance,” said Susan Cole, director of the ABA Education Foundation. “Get Smart About Credit Day is about educating young people before they encounter car loans, student loans, and credit cards, and not the other way around.” The foundation can help banks and bankers get started and get ready for Get Smart About Credit Day with easy-to-use resource kits, information, and more. It’s also important for banks to let the foundation know about their support for Get Smart About Credit Day by registering online. Click here to register or to order resource kits, or E-mail Kathryn Kelly. For information about TBA participation, contact Monique Jenkins, TBA PEP coordinator, or visit the TBA website http://www.tnbankers.org/consumers/incharge.htm.
