Offered as a partnership training program with ABA, TBA is pleased to bring this educational tool to the membership. eLearning courses are an alternative to other training available to TBA members. Within this training series ABA has formatted for online, self-paced delivery approximately 60 Performance Training Series (PTS) programs. The content of these programs has been written and tested by bankers and deals with the most current industry specific issues. In addition to these courses, Microsoft application computer skills training is also available.

WHAT IS eLEARNING?
This is a web-based training (WBT) tool or online training tool that is delivered via the internet. Everything you need to complete your class you can access through the internet. No CDs or VCR tapes to load or keep up with. Wherever you have access to the internet you have access to your course – at home, work, at any time of the day.
All of these programs can be completed in as few as 30 minutes to 6 hours, at a time and location convenient to the end user. The eLearning programs have proven to be a value added resource to bank training programs regardless of bank size. Whether you are training one person or hundreds, this program is the one for you!
Through these programs you can earn credit for application toward the many AIB diplomas and certificates. Many of these programs not only have AIB credit but ICB credit or CEU credit.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN AIB ONLINE COURSES AND ELEARNING COURSES?
The eLearning Courses are skills-based titles, designed to be completed in small segments or modules averaging 15-20 minutes each. The entire eLearning course may take 30 minutes to 6 hours to complete and includes activities such as short quizzes, simulations, etc to reinforce the learning. You have a maximum of 6 months from the time of registration to complete each course. During the course, each time you stop the course will automatically pick back up where you stopped.
The instructor-led AIB Online Courses include the traditional AIB titles and courses which are delivered over the internet for maximum convenience to the end user. These courses last from 5 to 16 weeks and they have specific start and end dates. There are weekly assignments which can be completed anytime during the week convenient to the end user. There are mid-term and final exams. This courses emulate a “virtual classroom.”
